Dance Movies working on both superficial and deep levels

I haven't seen many dance movies
especially not newer ones
but some good classics will however
be presented on this list
of films I was gladly and/or sadly moved by
much about teaching + learning
often ballet schools
those careers like life + death
containing fine dance numbers
even if they aren't completely "dance movies"
some more close to musical
others showing most of spoken drama
