Amelita with Court Yard Hounds

country in folk-rock coat
by Maguire and Robinson (two women from what was Dixie Chicks)
and their band giving some taste of a whole Fleetwood Mac here

Album Amelita has grown to my favourite from 2013
maybe not ground-breaking at all
but I love their rustic craftmanship with an organic, living nerve

Court Yard Hounds can make as etherical tunes as Joni Mitchell, then even rocking like The Bangles or something.

most Beautiful song: THE ROAD YOU TAKE

most Sexy song: WATCH YOUR STEP

most Loving song: GETS YOU DOWN

most Growing Strong song: ROCK ALL NIGHT

most Melancholic song: A GUY LIKE YOU

from Christmas Story of a Skating Horse

There once was a brownie who had been bewitched into shape of a horse...

Here follows from a fairytale calender I write together with a poetry friend. Otherwise in swedish, the latest hatch became english :

Now Santa shakes his horse head

How frightened! like a half dead

On two knees by the mirror

his third eye twinkles : Error!

For kisses Santa's heart bled

while elf lips painted head red

Our carousel comes late, late

since skating like this eight : 8

For every round a new face

Some sister also joined race

Through ice flames, small but well fed,

well, elvens nicely mislead

our Santa on Saturn's so heavy sharp blades

to capture next magic light Jupiter phase

Worm of Tapes with Comet Tale

IN CAMERA
by and with Peter Hammill
UK 1974

which is a music album, not a movie ;)

Hearing Hammill now feels almost like watching the great dwarf Tyrion struggling around in the "medieval" worlds of Game of Thrones.

This was already his fourth solo album "without" Van der Graaf Generator, but still I would easily confuse them as same. Cause differences doesn't really lie in the concepts - rather in each masterpiece, filled with so many richly changing shades.

from Bruno M. to miss Berry

Postcard to/from Fictive Character
in GLEE versus FAME

Hello goodbye, miss Berry!!
Today I dreamed we were in
the same tv-show. While you
stronger than ever made a
song from Le Mis, my fingers
were playing these keys like I
was in burning love or some-
thing... Well, in reality I would
choose your rival Quinn Fabray,
even if she dances better than
sings. However in my dream you
hit some really convincing strings
with your shining voice! Maybe
I could live with you being too
much ENTJ, while I'm too much
ISFP. Now my feelings wonder when

[left to right field]

we're gonna change series?! You may
travel to back to 1982 for FAME, or I
can join GLEE club by going all the way
to 2012. I've already completed a new
signature for us. At least they could use
our melody in one episode?! You surely
has so much to sing for whole world,
that you wouldn't notice the presence
of my keyboards? Especially now before
Christmas, and even more since your
beloved Finn is gone... Anyway I want
you Rachel to listen two minutes for
my tune, which would remind you of
the best steps you've ever taken so far!

THE MOLE in early Australian version

which hit me I could discover too!!
as I'm missing more episodes of the swedish "Mullvaden"
and want to finally solve a mystery...
or see if it's possible in the jungle of edited scenes.

Have just realised "The Mole" is a big concept
reinstalled by almost fourty countries,
started in Belgium
although hardly as huge and flashy as some other docu-soaps

Now I've watched Australia's first
season from 2000

-Who did I believe most was THE MOLE...?
(no right answer given here)

1. ABBY (absolutely)

2. BEN (probably)

3. JAN (would make good as)

4. ROCKY (could be)

5. BEVERLEY (maybe)

6. JAMES (don't know)

7. ALAN (not really)

8. LINDA (hardly)

9. PATRICK (no way)

10. JOSEPHINE (never even occured)

GONZO Going Home...

MUPPETS FROM SPACE
by Tim Hill, 1999

Even though The Great Gonzo's roots are developed, I still like his character better in just that lilac suit, fantastically old-fashioned already in -77.

And since there's almost too many hairy vegitables running around here, none given a full portrait (you may be completely lost if you haven't seen The Muppet Show before)...

...now I just mention five flowery animals (and none of the robotic humans) I feel contributes relatively much to making this movie a special experience:

1. PEPE THE PRAWN (brings a fresh edge to it all)

2. DR. BUNSEN or his assistant BEAKER (fixing a Door-in-a-jar)

3. DR. VAN NEUTER (heartless brain surgeon)

4. ANIMAL (using the toilet as cleaning water)

5. MISS PIGGY (more self-righteous than ever?!)

Why didn't Waldorf & Statler made alot of ironic comments over this production? They just sit in the living room sofa, makes a lazy joke and never fills their mission. Also the musical element is missing here.

Finding Neverland Again

PETER PAN
based on J.M. Barrie's story
Disney 1953

Never seen this whole classic movie, only some pictures woven together for an audio-book story when I was a child. Nonetheless I recognized more than I thought... of appearances as well as intrigue. What I've missed is that Peter Pan is such a super-attractive phantom in the eyes of many different ladies ;) Why doesn't anyone choose Captain Hook?

Tinker Bell's tough role I think was down-sized compared to this movie - maybe since she speaks completely through actions and body language = doesn't talk. The shimes sound of her clinging wings also declared it was time to turn pages...

my SnowBlack Movie # 1345

Happy role: WENDY DARLING

Grumpy role: TINKER BELL

Crazy role: MR. SMEE

Shy role: JOHN or MICHAEL

Explosive role: CAPTAIN HOOK

Exhausted role: THE CROCODILE

Van Der Graaf Generator working even better with Violin

sounds so fantastic organic, even if it were a relatively forced renewal to the organs, saxophones and drums they already played so well

THE QUIET ZONE / THE PLEASURE DOME
Van Deer Graaf 1977

composed by captain Peter Hammill
with new musician Graham Smith on violin

Seventh full record of the 70's, held as being their most "accesible" album, for being a band who made such complex music. With a bit shorter pieces than before, this was VDG(G):s last studio album for many years silence to follow...

Postcard to Tyrion Lannister

to/from Fictional Person # 4

in swedish mixed with english

God morgon, Tyrion!
Är just i ett skotskt castle
och is looking ut över Nord-
irland. Reminds mig om
din skepnad. Got no aning
om du är död eller alive?
However you're tillräckligt
clever to tolka dessa
swedish words. Svärden
drog foolen i tarot. ^^
Feel så liten här among
de stupande murarna...
Hur många battles behöver
en skalbagge genomfighta
before röda viner rinner
free between fyra riken?
Ty kreativ frame kräver
begränsad loyality, liksom
hjärtat sometimes måste
följa your smart tongue.
Bästa blandade list, mister!
Hälsa Bronn, Jon o Greyjoy,
Jaime, Baratheon o Petyr
samt alla royal whores
att ta it cool på hästryggen
och varmt nu i vinter...

ROLES of THRONES

Finally finished watching the first season of Game of Thrones. It seems to be an endless puzzle of characters, who can appear or disappear as quickly as they are slowly woven into the big net.

If I would have to live in this kind of medieval world (or these worlds) and so choose a character to be - here's a list of how much I would love to be any character. The last ones I really don't like to be at all.

Would not like to be mean or forceful, but would not like to be stupid or threatened either. Even if some characters can be extremely bad or good, have an extremely nice or hard life - it still isn't easy to choose which position I could lead a both confident and creative role from...

...especially since possibilities and responsibilities sometimes changes faster than you'll imagine. As a man I further can appreciate many women without wanting to be them. Try to frame as if the intrigue could be potentially other than the actual.

1
LORD VARYS (councelor or spy)

2
SAMWELL TARLEY (night watcher a bit clumsy?)

3
TYRION LANNISTER (smart dwarf)

4
BRONN (free knight)

5
PETYR "LITTLEFINGER" BAELISH (councelor or businessman)

6
ARYA STARK (daughter with a sword)

7
MAESTER LUWIN (old student and tutor)

8
ROBERT BARATHEON (King of the seven kingdoms)

9
EDDARD STARK (King's hand)

10
OSHA (former wildling)

11
BRAN STARK (younger son)

12
VISERYS TARGARYEN (vain man maybe a dragon)

13
JON SNOW (half-brother of Stark family)

14
ROS (whore)

15
THEON GREYJOY (companion of Stark/Snow brothers)

16
JEOR MORMONT (Lord Commander of Night's Watch)

17
DAENERYS TARGARYEN (princess living like an amazon)

18
KHAL DROGO (Dothraki warlord)

19
DOREAH (whore and handmaiden)

20
HODOR

21
ROBB STARK (eldest son)

22
ROBIN ARRYN (fed by Lady Lysa)

23
SYRIO FOREL (sword trainer)

24
CATELYN STARK (wife)

25
JORAH MORMONT (knight in exile by Targaryen's)

26
JAIME LANNISTER (real father of Joffrey)

27
MYRCELLA BARATHEON (princess)

28
MASTER AEMON (blind advicer almost too old to be remembered?)

29
TYWIN LANNISTER (father)

30
QOTHO (heartless warrior)

31
CERSEI LANNISTER (Queen?)

32
SANSA STARK (potential princess/queen)

33
JOFFREY BARATHEON (prince)

And remember I still haven't seen more than one season = ten episodes. Haven't read the written story either (just some chapters) which surely goes even deeper into these persons or creatures.

Before a potential battle :

"-Are you afraid?
-I must be [watches his own hand trembling].
-Good!
-Why is that good?
-It means you're not stupid."

Game of Thrones 1:8

Rio Rio with Duran Duran

During most times of my life I probably would've dismiss this music. But now it feels good and not so shallow at all. Realise that early Duran Duran is not so far away from my favourite bands Alphaville and Ultravox as well as The Stranglers. Rio was released 1982, and it seems that that album does quite much for the perfect impression.

La Folie with The Stranglers

from late -81

Stranglers' music continues to slowly fascinate me more and more... This record keeps growing (ain't so lame as some claim), especially if we take the bonus songs in same grip.

Caught between the super-creative sharpness of The Raven and more immediate convinceful pop of Aural Sculpture, LA FOLIE melts punkish material further down to synthish things. Makin' their obscure kind of new wave...

It happens in a quite cosy but still definitely not easy-listened way (which is very good here). Similar sounding music makers : early Elvis Costello, Lou Reed, Depeche Mode, The Undertones, Talking Heads, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Wire.
