Seconds of Pleasure with Rockpile

The fundament of Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe finally released a full record under their identity Rockpile, in 1980.

Well, believe I agree that their solo albums is more rich on interesting material - even though this gets five stars from amg, in good company with early Lowe and (almost) Edmunds, these late 70's rock'n'rollers. My points would've been higher if they had included some songs from the Everly Brothers cover EP into main LP. Since they already had add some Berry and more to their own compositions.

most Amusing song:
TEACHER TEACHER
by Philips & Pickett

most Beautiful song:
bonus track (I DO MY) CRYING IN THE RAIN
by Greenfield & King

most Sexy song:
IF SUGAR WAS AS SWEET AS YOU (HONEY)
by Joe Tex

most Smart song:
WRONG AGAIN (LET'S FACE IT)
by Difford & Tilbrook who became The Squeeze

most Strange song:
FOOL TOO LONG
by Bremmer, Lowe, Williams, Edmunds

most growing Strong song:
HEART
by Lowe

most Loving song:
WHEN I WRITE THE BOOK (ABOUT MY LOVE)
by Lowe

Overall Album

6 compositions

5 instrumentations

6 playin' feeling /singin' feeling

4 philosophy

3 timeline (order of tracks)

1 concept (titles, cover picture)

6 historical importance

= 31

I now give 1-7 for each cathegory
where 3 is good and total possible 7 X 7 = 49 never exist(?)
