KALEIDOSCOPE with Siouxsie & the Banshees

Released 1980, co-creating the new wave movement from punk into (synth)pop, in some gothic way

I can return to their music without ever getting bored - maybe since I never really get the whole structure, but feel it possesses an appearant one.

This seems to be the most well-crafted among their early albums. Also exiting to compare with TINDERBOX from six years later, a completely different record, but still impossible to mistake for another band.

most Amusing song: HAPPY HOUSE

most Beautiful song: LUNAR CAMEL

most Sexy song: RED LIGHT

most Smart song: CLOCKFACE

most Strange song: TENANT

most growing Strong song: PARADISE PLACE

Overall Album

4 compositions

7 instrumentations

5 playin' feeling /singin' feeling

3 timeline (order of tracks)

6 concept (titles, cover picture)

7 historical importance
