Velvet Drive of Cowboy Lynch
MULHOLLAND DRIVE
by David Lynch 2001
a movie which seems to mix together many threads of Lynch's universe
for example the fine 50's/60's feeling of grotesque BLUE VELVET,
some slow humour of short film THE COWBOY AND THE FRENCHMAN,
early monsters in more human shapes,
the whole absurdity of life and every movie,
yet in an impressively clear concept
full of dream-like characters from reality
like an american kind of Fellini-film
or my closest association goes to :
PULP FICTION by Tarantino
though Mulholland Drive is not about drugs
more about consciousness, ghostlike states and maybe reincarnation
my SnowBlack Movie # 1320
