A Black Box by Peter Hammill
After his eighth solo album pH 7 (one of P.H.'s more aggressive) Peter returns to something more contemplative in 1980
using synth sounds 'n claviatures more frequent as a wall-to-wall carpet than he peppered pH 7 with. However it's clear to me Hammill is an organist rather than a guitar man.
most Smart song: FLIGHT [= last track much more longer]
most Strange song: JARGON KING
most Amusing song: LOSING FAITH IN WORDS
most Beautiful song: IN SLOW TIME
most Sexy song: FOGWALKING
most growing Strong song: THE SPIRIT
Overall Album
5 compositions
7 instrumentations
6 playin' feeling /singin' feeling
4 philosophy
5 timeline (order of tracks)
4 concept (titles, cover picture)
3 historical importance
= 34
I now give 1-7 for each cathegory
where 3 is good and total possible 7 X 7 = 49 never exist(?)
