Plutonium Cathedral with VACUUM
THE PLUTONIUM CATHEDRAL, the premiere album of Vaccum, I never discovered it in 1997, but probably the better now. Vacuum's scientific persona clings extremely well to the space between what's superficial and what's really deep.
Vacuum was a swedish trio who took over where Army of Lovers ended in the mid 90's. Bard had flown into the more cinematically timeless nest of Wollbeck and Lindblom, where also a woman Schipjenko could be found. Their way of blending synth pop with orchestral music gives some fantastically strange harmonies.
most Loving song: CLOSER THAN THE HOLY GHOST
most growing Strong song: SCIENCE OF THE SACRED (Adam and Eve)
most Strange song: PRUSSIA (to write a page in history)
most Smart song: SIGN ON THE SKYLINE
science of Vacuum in a very fine video
most Sexy song: I BREATHE [clouds beneath my window... I feel satellites in limbo]
most Beautiful song: ATLAS SHRUGGED
most Amusing song: THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME
