Glory, Glamour and Gold with Army of Lovers

Sometimes this bombastic album feels like complete shit, but more often fantastic. It's as superficial as it is deep, as materialistic as it's spiritual. The four artists in Army of Lovers had finally developed the early 90's into a historic castle filled with eroticism, reminiscent of the french revolution.

Seemes we are supposed to adore the first four tracks most, something which I never did in 1994, and still my love goes to the relatively obscure tracks. You've Come a Long Way Baby is glittering of so rich poetry and sound textures that you forget how mechanical it is at the same time.

most Loving song: LIFE IS FANTASTIC (I DON'T WANT TO DIE, Alexander and Michaela)

most Amusing song: HURRAH HURRAH APOCALYPSE (All four)

most Beautiful song: YOU'VE COME A LONG WAY BABY (most Dominika)

most Sexy song: MR BATTYMAN (All four)

most Smart song: BALLROOMS OF VERSAILLES (Alexander and Jean-Pierre)

most Strange song: LIKE A VIRGIN SACRIFIED (Michaela & Dominika)

most growing Strong song: SHINE LIKE A STAR (most Jean-Pierre)
