movie about/around Gärdestad brothers
seen with my sister in a swedish cinema
directed by Hannes Holm -17, released -18
portraying some of Sweden's most prominent music artists
from early 70's to early 90's
in my SnowBlack Movie Spiral :
most Happy Role : TED GÄRDESTAD (by Adam Pålsson)
(accompanied by MARGIT GÄRDESTAD (by Maria Kulle))
most Grumpy Role : TED GÄRDESTAD (by Adam Pålsson)
(accompanied by "his phantom shadow" (by ?? ??))
most Sneezy Role : STIKKAN ANDERSSON (Jonas Karlsson)
most Sleepy Role : HARPO [who was completely absent from this movie]
most Dopey Role : LOTTA RAMEL (by Happy Jankell)
most Doc Role : KENNETH GÄRDESTAD (by Peter Viitanen)
most Bashful Role : BENNY ANDERSSON (by Edvin Bredefeldt)
(or some other in ABBA - not so pop star:ish at all)
most Beauty Role : HELENA ANLIOT (Mikaela Ardai-Jennerfors)
so which Gärdestad SONGS I felt played most Living Roles here :
1. UNIVERSUM [becomes kind of lead motive, a pure ground]
2. HELT NÄRA DIG [together on bus with different psychology]
3. HELENA [while trying to continue to play tennis]
4. EIFFELTORNET [playing on Povel's piano]
5. RÄCKER JAG TILL [conflicting intros during Rehearsal]
6. JAG SKA FÅNGA EN ÄNGEL [more exciting than I realised before]
7. I DRÖM o FANTASI [as Stikkan critically analyses Kenneth's
lyrics]
8. SATELLIT [also in slower version, warming up again...]
my experience of full movie as a movie
6 Joy (Happy)
7 Conflict (Grumpy)
5 Thrill (Sneezy)
5 Process (Sleepy)
5 Humour (Dopey)
5 Idea (Doc)
4 Mystery (Bashful)
6 Beauty (SnowWhite)

Escalator with Clifford T. Ward
sung and composed by Clifford T. Ward 1975
which I would've called Baggins' Jigsaw Puzzle
probably one of the most forgotten albums you can imagine??
deeper inside some wardrobes than memories are able to sleep...
anyway a nice discovery for me, clearly
quickly escalating in its calmness
yes, really lights up the very ground of my musical taste!
even if a pair of pieces doesn't makes sense
for example beginning each side with slow, melancholic tracks
like the ending ones wouldn't have been enough soft to lean against
as my Snow Record # 183

PIANO by Benny Andersson
purely his old melodies
in new naked shapes
silently shining
their chorus of timeless beauty
from Sweden 2017
even if I would love some cello
or other instrument as companion
and though I sometimes
prefer him to play more dramatical
a bit less restraint
best element is you still can hear
the richness of full productions
in simply this piano
as my Snow Record # 181

Infinity with Journey
a fully grown album which seems more
and more to be on my Top 100 of whole Universe
their first record with Steve Perry
who 1978 brought the missing
golden pieces to this band
by both singing and composing mastership
although I appear to like same skills in keyboardist Gregg Rolie
Produced by Roy Thomas Baker
which must have sharpened the sweet tunes
into even more creative
progressive hard pop?!
as my Snow Record # 180

most Imaginative song : OPENED THE DOOR
most Amusing song : LÃ DO DÃ

Hard Rock Ballads I must have Heard Most
times during my life...
in order of how often
rather than how good
1. WIND OF CHANGE
Scorpions -90
even though I'd rather say SEND ME AN ANGEL from same album
2. PRISONERS IN PARADISE
Europe -91
3. WILD WILD ANGELS
Smokie -76

4. WISE MAN
Uriah Heep -77

even though I'd rather say TIME HAS COME from same album
9. BLIND
"It started to Snow in the middle of July"
Deep Purple -69
10. AFTERGLOW
Genesis -77
[maybe not exactly hard rock, but suits here anyway]
11. HELL IS LIVING WITHOUT YOU
Alice Cooper -89
if you don't call POISON a ballad(?) - otherwise would come higher
12. HOW DOES IT FEEL?!?
Slade -72
13. STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
Led Zeppelin -71
or maybe even more times THE RAIN SONG
14. FEELING THAT WAY
Journey -78
15. IN THE LAP OF THE GODS
Queen -74
16. MEGALOMANIA
Black Sabbath -75
17. LADY STARLIGHT
Scorpions -80
18. ANGIE

20. DESPERADO
Eagles -73
21. WILD ONE
Thin Lizzy -75
22. THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS
Mott The Hoople -74
[partly a completely other genre, but suits here anyway]
as my recent attempt to catch
which tunes the genre consists of
one criterion is they should be performed by bands

Face The Heat with Scorpions
Released in -93
Still don't know
wheter the record feels really good or quite bad
only sure it has potential to shine far more powerful
than it's reputation as a bleak shadow
When I was 18
during early -94 in my wildest winter ever
as I walked home from my friend cross a snowy graveyard
listened to some tracks here many times
(even more than Crazy World from three years before)
feeling like the "scorpion I am"
caught between control and fear
contempt and longing love
as my Autumn Album # 181
by kinda chakra based evaluation
most Soulful song : WOMAN ("I cannot live, I cannot die")
most Imaginative song : DESTIN [bonus track]
most Amusing song : NIGHTMARE AVENUE
most Beautiful song : UNDER THE SAME SUN
most Strong song : ALIEN NATION ("in the garden of Eden time is running out")
most Sexy song : HATE TO BE NICE
most Rooted song : LONELY NIGHTS ("I go back to the places we've been")
in my opinion (and many others?) they should've put in one more ballad
plus one more extremely hard in style of the opening track
and passed a pair of faster middle rockers to bonus material
though I often skipped half of the tunes
so now finally get a full impression
of the twelveth album by these german Scorpions
though I'm still like a stranger in the heavy metal world
I've felt more related to Scorpions than most other bands

feeling like the "scorpion I am"
caught between control and fear
contempt and longing love
as my Autumn Album # 181
by kinda chakra based evaluation
most Soulful song : WOMAN ("I cannot live, I cannot die")
most Imaginative song : DESTIN [bonus track]
most Amusing song : NIGHTMARE AVENUE
most Beautiful song : UNDER THE SAME SUN
most Strong song : ALIEN NATION ("in the garden of Eden time is running out")
most Sexy song : HATE TO BE NICE
most Rooted song : LONELY NIGHTS ("I go back to the places we've been")
in my opinion (and many others?) they should've put in one more ballad
plus one more extremely hard in style of the opening track
and passed a pair of faster middle rockers to bonus material
though I often skipped half of the tunes
so now finally get a full impression
of the twelveth album by these german Scorpions
though I'm still like a stranger in the heavy metal world
I've felt more related to Scorpions than most other bands
Whole Album

I now give 1-7 for each cathegory
where 3 is good and total possible 8 x 7 = 56 never exist(?)
