Star Wars Plastic Figures I Was Most Fascinated By
concerning mainly the CGR Toys developed during early 80's
among the ones I had or friends had, some of which we switched
an attempt to re-evaluate my psychological preferences
where both scary and cute traits gave high appreciation
as well as mysterious features
just how it felt to watch and hold and play with these plastic figures
(not directly considering the movie characters behind them, which anyway I was mostly unaware of then in real time
and ain't counting bigger machines, ships aso)
1. WICKET W. WARRICK (EWOK)
2. LANDO CALRISSIAN (incl helmet, from R. Jedi)
3. C-3PO

and closer than ever before

Root chakra
APRIL
with Deep Purple
long instrumental episode from Deep Purple -69
which Morricone:ish ride I adore
but would've prefered more mixed
since they jump too abrupt into singin' in the end

...the valley's filled with pain"
by Blackmore & Lord
Sex chakra
MISTER PLEASANT
with Kinks
single -66
based on music hall elements
most successful in central Europe
by Ray Davies
Solar Plexus chakra

but has been B-side to Darling
as well as A-side before my all-time fave Love You Til I Die

Heart chakra
FERNANDO

Electric Warrior with T. Rex
as my Spring Record # 17:1
Surprisingly enough I never really liked this album until now
when finally it's creativity, sharpness and beauty becomes clear
as I've been blind and deaf for this musical milestone and predecessor
- well, maybe I just gave it fewer attempts than I want to remember?
kinda chakra based evaluation
most Soulful song : LIFE'S A GAS
most Imaginative song : COSMIC DANCER
most Amusing song : THE JEEPSTER
most Beautiful song : GIRL
most Strong song : PLANET QUEEN
most Sexy song : MONOLITH
most Safe song : GET IT ON (BANG A GONG)
My impression is that it sounds like almost nothing else from 1971
though of course one can trace early glam + a big spectrum of styles
which it has given inspiration to more than derived inspiration from
Yet have to discover every else T. Rex record, but according to Electric Warrior
here are some artists I sense most similarities with :
David Bowie, Lou Reed, Queen, Roxy Music, Todd Rundgren, Per Gessle [Roxette], Belle & Sebastian, Arcade Fire, Sparks, Jefferson Airplane, John Lennon, Donovan, Harpo
Whole Album
(6) compositions
(7) instrumentations
(7) singin' /playin' feelin'
(4) lyrics (incl titles)
(5) variation
(6) synchronization
(3) cover /concept
(7) historical importance
= 45
I now give 1-7 for each cathegory
where 3 is good and total possible 8 x 7 = 56 never exist(?)

L'Avventura by Antonioni
Finally seen his italian, early masterpiece
released -60 and filmed -59
set on Aeolian islands and Sicily
while my mind oscillate
between passionate admiration
and confused indifference
like SnowBlack
most Beautiful character : ANNA (Lea Massari)
+ seven dwarfs
most Happy character : GIULIA (Dominique Blanchar)
most Grumpy character : CORRADO (James Addams)
most Sudden (Sneezy) character : GLORIA (Dorothy De Poliolo)
most Boring (Sleepy) character : SANDRO (Gabriele Ferzetti)
most Crazy (Dopey) character : PRINCE GOFFREDO (Giovanni Petrucci)
most Wise (Doc) character : PATRIZIA (Esmeralda Ruspoli)
most Bashful character : CLAUDIA (Monica Vitti)
or as Roger Ebert viewed this :
"...you would assume the movie was about the search for Anna. It is not. It is about the sense in which all of the characters are on the brink of disappearance; their lives are so unreal and their relationships so tenuous they can barely be said to exist. They are like bookmarks in life: holding places, but not involved in the story."
Whole Movie
7 Beauty (SnowWhite)
4 Joy (Happy)
5 Conflict (Grumpy)
3 Thrill (Sneezy)
6 Process (Sleepy)
2 Humour (Dopey)
2 Idea (Doc)
6 Mystery (Bashful)

my 55 Most Memorized 50's Movies
Never seen many movies at all from the 50's
but still more than I thought.
Since alot of 50's things feels very
meaningful now, I try to figure out
not which 55 I love most
rather which 55 I remember most of
which in turn reveals something
about how many times I have seen them
or how recently and
grade of great impression they've made
in order of reminiscence
....so far....
