Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

first double album by Bernie Taupin & Elton John

as my Summer Album # 1551

Genre : Most Hard And Most Soft together under the bright dark star ceiling late -73 of glam pop built by solid rock.

Sounds in my ears most similar to Billy Joel, Bee Gees, Queen, Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp and Ted Gärdestad.

most Soulful song: GREY SEAL

most Imaginative song: THIS SONG HAS NO TITLE

most Amusing song: YOUR SISTER CAN'T TWIST

most Beautiful song: HARMONY

most Strong song: FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND (LOVE LIES BLEEDING)

most Sexy song: DIRTY GIRL

most Grounded song: ROY ROGERS

Some years ago I felt this double were too unbalanced, flipping out by really rocking all the way from track 11 to 14 instead of weaving those stones in earlier, plus having the nerve to begin with its longest session. But now I believe the concept works very well after all, even though I still would've put the songs in different order.
