Overall I got more positive impressions of Palme as a person than I imagined now. His curious joy and serious sharpness goes exceptionally intriguing together. Also realise he was more "close friend" with Bergman and other cultural icons than I've thought of, at least at an early stage.

"Kanske är det just detta att han inom sig kände att han var i någon mån
ändå en maktmänniska. Han tyckte sig s.a.s. ogilla maktmänniskor i
princip. Men om man känner på sig att man har nånting som man egentligen
i princip ogillar väldigt mycket, då ligger det väldigt nära tillhands
att man lurar sig själv. Olof tyckte om att lägga sig i saker och ting
som egentligen en stadsminister inte gör. Det gör man för att man tycker
det är roligt att bestämma."
