If you could go into any movie and stay there "forever" -

- which one would you choose?

Let's assume you would be within the world of a movie "for the rest of your life" - which then of course would be another life - but as in all time travelling fiction you will keep your recent consciousness.

The movie could be repeated and repeated as many times as someone saw it through. However (as in Groundhog Day) you will have the freedom to be conscious of what happened the last time and the time before that. Thereby you possess the chance to act a bit different each time, trying to transform your relations to the other figures in the film.

You also would be able to take anyone of the characters place - but since you start you cannot jump between the characters. Just like in real life you must make all changes from your own point of view.

I'm not gonna choose one movie - I'm making a list of the movies I believe I prefer the most. So here we begin with the 8 ones from the 80's I would go into - or already be in:

1

THE SHINING
by Stanley Kubrick (UK /USA)

through The Boy cycling in those hotel corridors

2

BACK TO THE FUTURE (even more part II than first part)
by Robert Zemeckis (USA)

through Marty discovering the effects of Doc's time machine

3

E.T.
by Steven Spielberg (USA)

through the Extra-Terrestrial visiting Earth

4

NOSTALGHIA
by Andrei Tarkovsky (Russia /Italy)

through Domenico the poet by tuscanian spirits

5

LE RAYON VERT [THE GREEN RAY]
by Eric Rohmer (France)

through Delphine not sure of where to travel or with who

6

SEX, LIES AND VIDEOTAPE
by Steven Soderbergh (USA)

through The Man with the Camera interviewing women

7

RONJA RÖVARDOTTER
by Tage Danielsson (Sweden)

through Ronia - The Robber's Daughter in the woods

8

BLADE RUNNER
by Ridley Scott (USA)

through Rick Deckard, who doesn't know wether he is a Replicant Robot

maybe not keyboard-player)

25
Fats Waller
(old solo, most pianist)

Although just beginning to be aware of who the organists are (not to speak about which the instruments are) I always have listened more to the organ- or synth elements in rock history than to other instruments - I believe that synthesizes my love for some different genres.

Brain of Talking Head's Roxy Monkey

cartoon script 11.7

1
The Talking Head has stopped rolling down the street, now listening silently to it's radio.

2
The Talking Head has two channels : one named Brian and one named Bryan. Between them floats a ferry from no man's land to no man's land.

3
Brian and Bryan is trying to make more strange rock'n'roll than one another, and they both seems to succeed.

4
Some buildings begins to dance, some cars starts to fly, as The Talking Head switches back and forth between it's channels.

5
Roxy Monkey is looking for food and soon catches a good glimpse of The Talking Head. Though Roxy Monkey would rather taste the pale women who's sunbathing on the black pavement, he recognizes something.

6
The Talking Head is too busy to be eaten by a monkey, so it jumps over a skyscrape and begins to roll over the lawns instead.

7
Brian and Bryan is still playing, ruff introspective pop art, which drops down in some rabbit holes here and there.

8
The Talking Head is telling a soulful fairytale to itself, in order to keep the more and more fragmented consciousness like it is a cosmos.

9
The re-maked reality is an animated universe, where the monkey became the cartoonish captain on a space ferry. Roxy Monkey lost his body since his head sat all night long with a headspeaker, listening to the 10 cc Top.

10
The universe is burning in both ends. Before it's too late Bryan changes identity to Byrne, while Brian becomes no one at all (at least for some eons of neo-ism).

11
From a completely other side Manfred Manzanera's Jupiter Group turns up, rescuing The Talking Head from illusive loneliness, by synthesizing it with every other head in the music system.
